Check the haul before the rate: the trucking cost between a site and the terminal it serves usually dwarfs the difference between two quoted rates. Filters map onto what actually disqualifies an option — mode, service, cargo handled — rather than onto adjectives.

Rates shown are indicative floors published by the operator. Signing in reveals the current rate, live availability and the direct operations contact, and lets you send one enquiry to several providers at once.

Common questions
What is the difference between a forwarder and a carrier?

A carrier owns the vessel, aircraft or truck and moves the cargo. A forwarder buys that capacity on your behalf, handles documentation and customs, and takes responsibility for the shipment end to end. Most shippers deal with a forwarder.

Should I ship FCL or LCL?

As a rough rule, once you exceed 13 to 15 cubic metres a full container is usually cheaper than groupage, and it avoids the extra handling and consolidation delay LCL involves. Below that, LCL is normally the better economics.

Why do quotes vary so much on the same lane?

Because they cover different things. Check whether origin charges, destination charges, customs entry, demurrage risk and insurance are inside the number. A low freight rate with everything unbundled often lands higher than an all-in quote.

Does a forwarder insure my cargo?

Not automatically. Carrier liability is capped by convention and is usually far below cargo value. Marine cargo insurance is a separate product; most forwarders will arrange it if you ask, and the listing shows who holds their own liability cover.
